
Marea is a versatile DJ known for her ability to blend genres seamlessly, always sharing her refined music taste. She began her DJ journey in 2006 in Barcelona, under the mentorship of Adriana Lopez. A member of the female empowerment collective NÓTT, Marea is now a resident DJ at Bengala & Bandolero in Cali, where she showcases her fine technique and flexible approach to a wide variety of music styles.
Her sets are characterized by an enriching blend of rhythms, sounds, and structures, reflecting her wide-ranging musical influences. Over the years, Marea has performed at some of the most notable venues and festivals of Colombia, including Tunnel, La Pérgola, Videoclub, Odem, Asilo, Mad Records, Rio Hostel, Baum Fest, Mocawa Fest, Lovers Festival, Feria de las Flores, EON Fest, Sucursal Fest, and venues across Mexico and Havana. One of her standout performances was at the NÓTT x Boiler Room off-camera party in Medellin.
Marea has shared the stage with artists such as Legowelt, Troy Pierce, Ryan Castro, Blessed, Green Velvet, Dubfire, Chippy Non Stop, Jensen Interceptor and more. Her music has been released on Píldoras Tapes, where she debuted her first EP including a collaboration with Ana Gartner. She also released Hombre Caimán on her own label Discos Hechizos and has contributed to various compilations with labels like Glauben Records, Air Textures, Otro, and NÓTT Records. Currently a member of the Solsticio Cali Club collective, where they organize carefully curated events focused on creating safe spaces, promoting conscious consumption, and highlighting national talent.
